Ready Templates

Start a project from a ready, working application instead of a blank prompt: preview a live demo, create your copy in one click without spending credits, then customise it in chat.

Ready Templates are complete, working applications that you can copy into a new project of your own. Instead of describing an app from scratch, pick a template that's close to what you need, create it, and then use the chat to change it. Creating a project from a template costs no credits.

Where to find templates

  • On the Chat screen: scroll below the prompt box and sample prompts to the Start from a template gallery. It shows every available template in a grid.
  • On the Templates page: open /templates directly. This page adds a search box and category filters.

Reading a template card

Each card shows a screenshot, the template name, and a one-line description. Hovering the card (or on touch devices, always) reveals a meta line with two facts:

LabelMeaning
Blade / Livewire / Vue / ReactThe frontend stack the template is built with. Your project keeps this stack
PrototypeScreens with sample data and no database yet. Equivalent to a project generated in Prototype mode
Full appIncludes models, controllers, and a working database. Equivalent to Build mode

A PRO badge in the corner marks templates that are only available on paid plans.

Searching and filtering

On the Templates page, type in Search templates… to match on name or description. Click a category chip to narrow the grid, or All to reset. The chat-screen gallery has no filters and always shows the full list.

Previewing a live demo

Click any card to open the preview dialog. If the template has a live demo, it loads inside the dialog so you can click through the real application. The demo can take five to ten seconds to appear the first time because the demo server wakes on demand. If no demo is available, the dialog shows the screenshot instead.

The dialog header repeats the stack, kind, and PRO badges. At the bottom you'll find either Use this template or, for a PRO template on an entry-tier plan, Upgrade to use, which takes you to the plan chooser.

Creating a project from a template

  1. Click Use this template in the preview dialog
  2. In the Use template dialog, enter a Project name. It's pre-filled as "Remix of [template name]" and must be 3 to 50 characters
  3. Click Create project

No credits are used. The template's code is copied into a fresh container for your team. You see the same Setup → Build → Configure → Launch progress screen as a normal generation, followed by Your Laravel application is ready! and a redirect to the workspace.

A template project uses one project slot, exactly like a generated project. On the Free plan this counts toward the 2-project limit. See Free & Prototype tiers.

Your first steps in the workspace

The chat panel opens with a From template card instead of an empty conversation. It contains a short welcome message from the template author and a row of suggested prompt chips, for example:

  • Rename the app to "My Brand" in the header, footer and page title
  • Change the primary accent colour to deep blue
  • Rewrite the hero heading and subheading on the home page
  • Explain how this project is organised

Clicking a chip fills the chat input so you can edit it before sending. From here the project behaves like any other: follow-up prompts use credits as normal, you can edit files in the IDE, and you can push to GitHub or deploy.

Because a template project has code before your first prompt, Revert is available immediately after your first AI change. On a generated project it only becomes available from the second prompt onwards.
